ADVANCING
The Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization that is comprised of business owners and individuals who work together to advance the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of our community.

ADVOCATING
The Chamber's board members are business advocates, public relations advisors and legislative representatives who stay up to date on business issues at the City, County, State and National levels of Government.

PROMOTING
The Chamber of Commerce serves an information bureau, a research and promotion resource center and a business promotion medium for our members.

REPRESENTING
The Chamber of Commerce is the front door to the Agoura Hills community and representatives are always available to greet visitors to the area and to provide them with the information they need to make informed decisions about starting a new business or setting up residence here.

GROWING
Our Board of Directors elected by the Chamber's Members set policy for the Chamber. Business and Community needs are determined and analyzed by the Board. Action plans are then set to aid community growth and make the community more attractive to new business.

COMMUNITY
We work hand in hand with the local government to assure that the planning and development of our community will maintain an orderly growth and healthy economic environment. We work to retain the private enterprise system with free competitive markets. We sponsor business fairs to help the community meet our local businesses. We hold monthly mixers and quarterly membership luncheons to promote networking. We help to promote new businesses with ribbon cutting ceremonies and publicity. We invite quality speakers to meetings, luncheons, breakfasts and seminars, all open to the public. In addition, our president Alex Soteras has set a very aggressive action agenda. Numerous projects are currently underway as evidenced by our Calendar of Events.

MEMBERSHIP
The Chamber's expenses are apportioned among its members through membership dues and donations. A Chamber membership is an investment in the present and future of the individuals and the community's welfare. It is for this reason that each business and most individuals should seriously consider becoming a member, a non-profit member or resident member of the  Chamber. With all of the services provided by our chamber, you cannot afford to pass up the opportunity of membership.

FULL TIME SBA WORKSHOPS
The Agoura/Oak Park/Conejo Valley Chamber and the United Chambers of Commerce will host an office on a regular basis for Small Business Administration (SBA) Development workshops at the Agoura Chamber office .The workshops for businesses will include sessions on obtaining financing, marketing, business planning and venture capital start up.

In 2005, The United Chambers and SBA partnership helped 11,500 businesses and residents that created 327 new businesses and over 600 new jobs.The Agoura/Oak Park/Conejo Valley Chamber serves businesses in Woodland Hills, Calabasas,Oak Park,Agoura Hills, Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks.

A counselor from the SBA and Valley Economic Development Corporation will available on a regular basis in the Agoura Chamber office located at 30101 Agoura Ct. # 207. Call the Chamber to participate at 818-889-3150
